1/5/16 Petals & sand

Today we are a little unsure of what to do , there is the caravan & camping show ( not a large one ) , or we drive around and check the industrial area out for a spray painter to repaint our hitch that has a lot of surface rust - hmm choices ???
We drove round the industrial area , then went to the beach , then up to Drummond Cove ( a suburb north of Geraldton ) .
The yellow daisies that we started seeing yesterday are out in force , maybe they could be Geraldton's floral emblem ???

The beach at Drummond Cove isn't really wide and seems to have been punished a bit by big seas , a section of roadway has been closed off after partially getting washed away .

The daisies are taking over any land that isn't looked after - they do soften the sandy ground .
Heading back into Geraldton , we found a cafe and got some fish & chips & squid rings ( they were lovely ) and sat on the beach and ate them .
It was nice to be back in shorts and t shirts again , the temperature only getting to 23 , but very nice in the sun . We headed back to the van and went for a walk on the beach to try and walk off some of lunch .
And that was our day , I won't bother with the map , we didn't really go far at all .
