Back to Lismore

I know , you've heard it before , but here we go again - It's another blue sky day . Today we are woken not so much by the local birdlife , but the local trucking community that decided Monday was time to get everything out of Grafton via the Summerland Way !!
Seemed it was moving day at the caravan park we were in , as many people moved out this morning - including us . It was a shame to be leaving this park as it was the cheapest we have encountered and probably in the best condition - certainly will be recommending this one at $22 a night for 2 people in a powered drive through site :- Gateway Village Caravan Park !!!
That free plug done ! we headed off up the road about 140 klms to Lismore , so we could get a few minor things corrected on the RV . Lyn manoeuvred out of the park and up to Casino with ease , traffic was light and in some places nonexistent , which made for a pleasant drive . We changed over drivers at Casino for the remaining 40 klms , it seemed Monday was also road work day , with road resurfacing work in sections all the way . We got to the last section of 60 klms/hr about 3 kms from Lismore , and got a stone into the windscreen , leaving a nice star burst about the size of a 10 cent piece , right in the middle of the screen - probably won't be the last !!
Pulling into Lismore Motorcycles and Pacific RV , we parked on the grass where we spent a week when we picked the RV up - 6 months to the day from when we first moved in - a little eerie !! Any way , Garry came up and said what are you doing , I've cleaned out the shed for you , so put it in the shed , so I did . Seemed a bit weird setting up in a shed , especially when we closed the roller door - we felt a little confined . Greetings were completed , friendships renewed , then we had to shop so we could have some lunch .
I made myself at home in the workshop , borrowing Garry's ladder and checking out the roof and its various bits & pieces - removing some gum leaves & twigs from the slide outs and replacing some broken zip ties . Time to head 300m down the road to Masters hardware shop to get some bits we required , getting back in time to have some salsa & corn chips with a beer to wash it down .
We will be here for a few days , so I won't promise a lot in the blog - my apologies . Here are some more photos from yesterday .
