11/9/20 Barn Hill 4

Really enjoying the peace & serenity of Barn Hill , there's plenty to see and great beaches to walk and swim at . Weather has been hot , last Friday & Saturday were the hottest , with 39 on both days . The next 2 photo's were taken inside the van - you can add about 3-4 degrees for outside temps .

Needless to say , we didn't do a lot of anything except walk down to the beach for a cooling swim . Water temperatures were certainly very comfortable and took the sting out of the heat . Fortunately we usually get a westerly sea breeze anytime after 12 noon . Here's some sunset photo's .

The afterglow about 20-25 mins after sundowns amazing .

Some drone shots from around the campsite .

This shot shows how far the tide moves up here - low tide is 1.2m and high tide is 9.5m . The high tide mark is right up to the cliff and low tide is midway on the left side of photo .

This is the beach on the southern side of the park - plenty of rocks at low tide !

Another shot showing the red cliffs & park .
