14/9/20 Barn Hill 7

Time for a walk down the south side beach , we drove down to the beach access , just because we could and so I could get a couple of photos like this .

Back up the track and around to the steps onto the beach and parked there , before heading off down the beach . Another shot of the red cliffs looking up to the northern side beach that we are closer to .

The cliffs are different on this beach . The only vehicles allowed on these beaches have to be launching & retrieving boats , due to there being soft sand , and that makes it such a nice place to be able to go along the beach and not having to worry about any vehicles coming !!

There's a distinct line in the cliff with lighter red above the line .

This is a look at the other bays further south , some with 20-30m high cliffs .

Had a local sea eagle keep on eye on us .

Further down the beach , we came across some very layered rocks .

There were also several of these birds flying around , I think they are probably migratory birds .

Another section of rock looked like someone had spilled some white paint , it looks like it was dribbling down the rock .

At the end of the beach was another cliff and totems .

The sea eagle came for a fly past as well .

Time for some aerial shots , this one looking north back to the main camp area .

Above the end of the beach and the rocky headland .

We discovered some more totems behind the beach .

These ones also show that some are round and hollowed out , just like the ones on the other beach .

Some amazing structures , it's funny how they erode into all these different shapes - I think most people that walk down and see these may well think the same thing .

Back to the stairs and the tide was a lot higher than before , our neighbours were out on their SUP - that's the little dot just above the red  .

Yep here's another few photo's of sunset from near our camp site and down on the beach at low tide .

One of the best things about being here , is the ute hasn't moved until today , such a wonderful place to do as much or as little as you feel !!
