Wow , what's in store today ? Sunrise was spectacular AGAIN!
Another cruise boat , this time True North , complete with helicopter !!
Time to read or whatever we wanted , we had a 3 hour cruise to get to the next stop - top right of the track log .
During the cruise we had a visit to the bridge , finding out about the controls etc from our Captain Lennie.
The coast is still rugged .
Arriving at Careening Bay , it was off into the tenders for a walk along the beach . Just behind the beach is a boab tree , Engraved on the tree is HMC Mermaid 1820 . Here's the information about it .
There's plenty of cycads growing along the edge of the beach - plants from prehistoric times !!
The rock has changed to more volcanic and is darker .
Views back on the boat are pretty good .
Next we're on our way to Black Lip Bay , more classic Kimberley scenery on the way .
Arriving to another spectacular location , and we could go for a swim !! A nice tiny beach for us play on .
Some more strange rocks at odd angles .
Next surprise was a cave , and not a small one either , it was a bit like Aladdins Cave with little offshoots everywhere .
There was a section where people thought there were crystals on the roof shining at us , it did look impressive .
The real culprit however was water droplets .
Back to the boat for a well earned beer and nibbles as the sun went down , another glorious day !!
