11/7/16 80 Mile

A bit breezy this morning , so we took it easy this morning . The bikes were unloaded so we could do some riding around the park - it’s 1 klm around the outside road , so we can get some exercise !!
We rode down to Ray & Wendy’s - we met them at Corrigin , they spend 9 months here at 80 Mile Beach and the other 3 in Corrigin , tough life !! We chatted to them for an hour or more before meeting Keith from Victoria who makes mobiles and other things with shells found on the beach - quite talented !
We headed back to the van for a Bbq lunch , before getting a few things sorted , then went for a ride to the beach entry gate and walking down the beach a few kilometres .
The beach was the busiest we’ve seen it , with plenty of cars parked , quad bikes buzzing up & down the beach , and lots of people fishing , walking , and sorting through shells . We did our own bit of shell work .

Didn't realise we were on the highway - this is west bound .

There are many large sea sponges washed up on the beach as well .

Among all the other shells , these scallop shells stood out .

We managed to find a small shell that was translucent , holding it up to the sun also showed it had a halo !!

The sun was setting again , yes more sunset photos - alright only one today - 2 people had a prime view of it !!

That’s it for today , probably will be similar to tomorrow !!
The internet here is a little bit patchy , so expect a blog entry when you get one hahaha !! Cheers
