19/7/16 Service & golf

Back again folks , we’ve moved further north to Broome . No photos or much to report for the last few days as we have been catching up on washing , cleaning , shopping and of course - chatting !!
The ute was serviced today , we’ve impressed a whole new workshop full of people !!
We’ve caught up with Kym & Caroline - neighbours from Coral Bay - they are just across from us - there’s been a few hours of chatting there , and a couple of beers !!
Managed to have a game of golf with Kym & Caroline today while the ute was serviced . Broome Golf Club is located on Roebuck Bay , the clubhouse has great views over the bay and the pier where they load ships with cattle for export .
The golf course itself is located behind the red sand dune that the clubhouse is built on , and is pretty much flat - the only hill you go up & down is to and from the clubhouse . Fairways are great , but once in the rough you will find 3 corner jacks ( a nasty little burr with lots of spikes ) . Lucky my golf buggy tyres aren’t inflatable type , otherwise they would have been flat very early in the game .  At one stage the tyres looked like they were coated in them . You probably wouldn’t want to trip over , it would be very painful !!
There are Boab trees on the course , many Rainbow Bee Eaters and other birds , all in all , it was a good walk , some good golf occasionally , and good company !! Here’s some photos -
