The pack up went like clockwork - RV packed up , kayak in , bikes on , hitched up and away we go - there were a couple of little hiccups , but all good - emptied the tanks and hit the road .
Todays destination was Batemans Bay or maybe Moruya , but we settled for Nelligen when we couldn't get in to some of the older style parks in Batemans Bay ( not enough room for us ) .
We had forgotten how undulating the road is when you head south from Ulladulla - we probably notice it more now that we are towing the RV - it was also a lot rougher than the road we had already travelled .
The Big4 park at Nelligen is bordered by a creek and the Clyde River . They were very clever and suggested we go for a walk and check out the site we would prefer to set up on . Of course we picked the one with artificial turf and backed onto the beach at the rivers edge , and went back to tell them which one , which they duly charged us for . While we were paying , the conversation went to where the owner / office guy used to live at Werai , then to the RV and before you knew it we had paid and left to set up . We checked the bill later and realised they had charged a little more for the riverside privilege - still we are not moving - we will check more closely next time !!!!
The downside here is there is no mobile or internet service again - a little bit strange seeing as we are only about 8 kms from Batemans Bay .
We are generating a lot of interest in the van and ute - chiropractors everywhere we go must be rubbing their hands together - the amount of sore necks will be increasing from all the double takes people are doing .
Back to town for some shopping & back - not a lot of excitement today .
