5/4/16 2 people move east

Sorry folks internet is a bit scarce where we are at the moment .
Showers this morning , that was okay , we had a screaming kid in a tent beside us at some ungodly hour .
We got up at 7:30 and had breakfast before packing up & heading east . Todays destination - Albany . We pulled onto the road at 9:40am and were at Albany within an hour & a bit . Then we had to decide where we should stay - There are several parks to choose from , ranging from $45 down to $22 a night depending how close to Albany you want to be. We chose to stay 20 klms out and stay for at least 3 nights and the price $60 , if we stay for 7 days it’s $110 for the week !! It does have it’s drawbacks being this far out Optus signal is nonexistent , Telstra barely there , so no internet & no TV . The plus’s are - nice and quiet - there are only 2 others here at the moment , and it’s on a 16klm no through road to Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve and only 2 or 3 houses .
We arrived , paid & set up before lunch , then went for a drive to Two Peoples Bay . Not knowing what to expect , we pulled into the carpark at the visitor information centre and went in for a look . We chatted to the lady at the centre , or more correctly listened as she chatted to us . Dragging ourselves away , we headed around to Little Beach .
The damage from the bushfires in January this year is evident on the right hand side of the road and onwards up the hills  , I think they did a bit of controlled burning at the same time .
Little Beach is a sight - beautiful white sand , green water , granite rocks at either end , with a couple of large ones in the middle of the beach . The granite rock continues upwards , with patches of green trees still visible in amongst the blackened remains .

Walking along the beach , we noticed the swell rolling up onto the granite rocks on the far end and watched it for a while . The sand on the beach was like we found at Esperance a couple of years ago , very fine grained and squeaky - at a higher pitch than normal !!

The rocks in the middle of the beach are the size of a truck , and there are many plants growing on the beach - probably as a result of the fires .

The coastline stretching to the east consists of mountains - Mt Manypeaks Nature Reserve stretches for 8klms and is bookended by Waychinicup National Park that takes up 4 klms on one end and 10 klms on the eastern end .

We walked around the rocks on the carpark end of the beach and started on the Heritage Walk that goes for 2.5 klms back to the visitor centre , then it started to rain , so we headed back to the ute . There is a rock strewn pool that we didn’t get to - another day !!

The Heritage Walk starts at the visitor centre , so we went back there and started off up the track . We took an umbrella this time - didn’t have to use it though . We reached the lookout and had great views over Two Peoples Bay . There is a wide arc of white sand stretching into the distance , fringed by natural bush . Quite a view .

There are two huge granite rocks , trees growing in the cracks & holes - they give some scale to the size of the rocks .

We have been noticing some yellow flowering shrubs of late , but today we managed to walk past quite a few , in addition , there were little trumpet type flowers on the thin branches of a small shrub.

The afternoon had slipped away from us - seems to happen when you’re enjoying yourself!! , so we headed back to the park . Todays map :-https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z1G8gwwxwyYo.kqIvgR7ks_iQ&usp=sharing
