Packing and moving was the job for today , and it's quite amazing how much you rely on your partner , and the jobs they do , while you're doing other things !! The whole pack up process ground down to a much slower speed , when the majority of the process is done by one person !!!
Ready to go , said our goodbyes to Del & Bill , got given another dozen limes , and away we go .
We were definitely going the right direction today , glad we weren't going to Perth . We were only on the Bussell Hwy for about 30 klms , but traffic going the other direction was bumper to bumper the whole way - it reminded me off the crush of traffic heading back into Sydney after holidays !! . It gave us great pleasure to turn off the highway again before Busselton , and take some other roads that were certainly much , much quieter !!
The roads were flanked by pine plantations for quite a way , we even had some hills to go up & down - quite long climbs as well !!
Finding Big Valley Farm , where we will be staying for the next 4 nights at least , we paid and set up on site . We caught up with Rick & Marcia as well !! After lunch we headed in to Margaret River to do some shopping , and were surprised to find a bustling town spread over several kilometres . Visiting the information centre , we picked up some info and headed to the supermarket , then back to our new residence .
