Stopping at the celebrity park beside Lilly Creek Lagoon . Celebrity's have planted trees at various times over the years in this park , and each tree has a plaque telling you who planted it and when . Many high profile people have their names here .
There's a Boab Tree closer to the lagoon it's heavy branches going in all directions . It has an interesting patterned bark , and still had some nuts hanging on the bare branches . Leaves are starting to come back now .
The lagoon is a popular boat ramp as well , it leads out to the Ord River . There are many dead trees still standing in the lagoon , making an interesting landscape .
Back to the van for lunch and then off to the pool to cool down - another 35 degree day here in paradise !!
The day finished with another sunset .
