Cleaning and maintenance today , we got our tax done yesterday , without so much as an argument or even a disagreement - smiles all round !!
The day disappeared , after a nice cool swim in the pool , we relaxed for a while before going to Cable Beach to have a quiet drink with Kym & Caroline , while watching the sunset again .Yes it's another sunset , but !!!! It was stunning as usual . We stayed untill the glow was receding into the ocean , before going home .

Another day dawns , we had a parcel to pick up and had to get some fuses - we blew one that protects the exhaust fans . Parcel picked up and fuses bought , we drove round to Town Beach . The tide was nearly on the high mark so there wasn’t much beach to walk on, instead we wandered through the caravan park up to a small headland overlooking the mangroves and Roebuck Bay . The views went around past the golf club to the pier , red dunes giving way to blue water .
There are Boab trees here that still have seed pods , but as they are deciduous trees , there are no leaves at the moment .
There are also a few other shrubs / trees that are similar to frangipani trees , but the flowers are different .
Back down to the beach , there is a Japanese structure beside the beach in the park . The park is a lovely grassed area , with a large fenced playground and waterpark for the kids . There are markets held here Thursday & Friday nights .
The temperatures here have been lovely , down as low as 12 overnight and up to 33 during the day , we are getting used to the heat and don’t really want to go anywhere cold in a big rush !!
