Internet & fuel filters

Hi there , our new internet solution is working fantastically so far - we updated Lyns phone , and we will use that as a mobile hotspot for the computer !! Problem solved .
With that news , that was our morning expedition - to the Telstra shop & Woolworths . Back to the park to have a cooked lunch seeing we aren't doing much today .
Back to town to get the fuel filter changed at Toyota - they squeezed us in !! While that was happening , we got some exercise on the bikes . We rode down to the bike track about a kilometre down the road and rode to the west - down to Low Level Bridge Reserve , across the river and back to the east and the Stuart Highway . The areas we rode through are dry & dusty , yet are only 30m from the river . The river banks are steep and about 10m above the river , it was a warm day - 27 degrees after lunch , so we stopped down in a grassy park beside the Hwy for a while .
Crossing the river , we headed back to the west on Riverside Dr , before remembering we needed to go to the Post Office for some information . We turned and rode back the couple of kilometres we had gone already , and went and found the PO .
We had used plenty of time and started back toward Toyota , getting a phone call when we were about 1klm away , telling us the ute was ready . Packing the bikes away , we headed back to the park for a beer & salsa . Here are a couple of more photos from yesterday .

The top of the escarpment is basically flat , and was the sea floor at one stage , till the water receded and the land rose , the rivers & streams all eroded the softer areas , and that is the valleys we see today .

The above photo is of a waterfall - a little bit dry maybe - but boy in the wet season woohoo!!
 See you tomorrow !!
