2/9/22 Timber creek to Chum Lee

We continue our trek to the west , smoke not so apparent today . The highway takes us through grazing country , then back into some more amazing escarpments . We drive toward this mountain , but turn & go around the right hand end of it .  There's an interesting ridge with some huge rocks , might be worth a look?

That's a huge gap in between those rocks .

Time for an aerial view , this ridge is about 140m above the highway , and this was the smaller ridge - I still couldn't fly over it - I'm limited to 120m .

The 2 rocks with the gap between them would be 20m tall , the huge rock in the middle is enormous - it's the size of an apartment block !!

This is looking north to Bullo Station - a large grazing property and conservation sanctuary .

The highway takes us through this section , which is quite amazing to look at .

Boab trees are becoming quite common , lots of different sizes and styles .

After a while we came to the Duncan Hwy turn off , and our camp for the night - yeah you guessed it , another gravel pit !! This is an aerial view , looking toward Kununurra .

Nearly at the top of the ridge was a small escarpment , it glowed in the afternoon sun .

We sat at the rear of the van in the shade , some book reading and some playing with the phone - managed to take a pretty reasonable photo of us !!

    That was our day , here's a map link :- https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=13XNn81sGkVoZ9darndekaubk047pAJk&usp=sharing
