Today we headed out on the bikes , the Qantas museum was only 500m away from us and you can see the planes on display under a huge cover . There's the City of Bunbury 747 , the Constellation , a 707 and another undercover .
There's a Catalina outside as well.

Back in town , this is the railway station .
Longreach Shire Council - right on the main road through and on a large roundabout .
This is Apex Park - the cheap park - where you get to stay for $5 a night for no power & toilets only !
I took all these while riding around town , then the 2 kms out to Apex Park . Found this little Red Backed Kingfisher , who decided to pose for a photo .

The van park where we are staying started to fill up with a lot of veteran cars & motorbikes and associated backup vehicles . Here's an old fire truck .
Must have been the fire captains car .
